I am a computational scientist working as a post-doctoral research associate in the Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC) within the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems at the Ulster University (UU), UK. Previously, I worked as a post-doctoral research associate in the School of Computer Science and Faculty of Life Sciences (currently; Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health) at the University of Manchester. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science, specialising in Computational Neuroscience, from the UU, UK. My research interests involve the analysis and interpretation of complex biological data; development of computational modelling approaches to improve our understanding of brain functions; and, physiology and behaviour. I am a member of various professional groups, including the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, British Neuroscience Association, and International Society for Serotonin Research.
